To be an artist is exciting and painful at the same time.   Exploring the inner self and stretching as an artist can be painful.  But when you "get it together", and put it on paper, board, canvas, or whatever, and someone understands it and likes it; that's the exciting part.

I love exploring life through the eyes of an artist.   I am an eclectic artist.  I use almost all of the media, and let my imagination run wild.

I also like getting new artists excited enough  to explore.

Jaxine has shown her tropical paintings  in the Front Lobby at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.   Jaxine says she was in good company, with outstanding artists like Anne Allemann, Tom Herbert, Dick Phillips and  Bob Oliver.   It was a beautiful place to showcase Fine Art.

Jaxine has exhibited in many one-woman shows, including The Mohave Historical Museum, Corporate office of LIN-CUM, Inc.; and the lobby of The Daily News-Sun newspaper; and two-person shows at The Beatitudes. She has been juried into the Glendale Arts Council shows, as well as the Shemer Art Gallery and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Art Gallery.

Many of Jaxine’s works are exhibited at

the Critique Encounters XII Galleries in Prescott, in the Fremont Plaza and in each of the major shows presented by The Arizona Art Alliance.  She was a founding member, and has been an active Board member, Historian, and Show Chairman for the Arizona Pastel Artists’ Association; Past President of Phoenix Artists Guild, a past member of National  and Arizona Women’s Caucus for Art; is a juried member of the Arizona Art Alliance, Arizona Artists Guild, and Phoenix Artists Guild; and is also a member of Scottsdale Artists League,  and Sonoran Arts League.  Jaxine's work  is also gracing the walls of the exclusive SKYE Restaurant, on Arrowhead Fountain Center Drive in Peoria, as well on in The Orient on "Art From America", and at the Home & Garden Expo Center - Peoria.

Jaxine has taught art classes, including volunteer teaching for Arizona Art Alliance's Community
Outreach Programs at the Arizona State Corrections Juvenile Center at Buckeye, Arizona. "I think this was the most rewarding thing I  have ever done."

Jaxine's artwork is also displayed on http://www.painterskeys.com,   a virtual gallery.
