“I love the shapes in nature, colors and
textures. Experimenting with design elements in both realism and
abstract forms is rewarding for me. Creating art is a challenging and
enjoyable effort of discovery and learning.”
Helen has worked not only in oils and
watercolor but also acrylic, mixed media and pastel, her current favorite.
She is a current member and past officer of Phoenix Artist’s Guild and is a
member of the Critique Encounters XII and their “Paintin’ Ladies Gallery” in
Prescott, Arizona. She has won several awards in juried art shows, has
had a one woman show, and her work hangs in private collections. Helen
is also a juried and award-winning member of
Arizona Art

Helen has attended workshops with notable
instructors including Betty Braig, Tom Herbert, Betsy Dillard Stroud,
Virginia Cobb, Charlotte Huntley and Robbie Laird. She is currently
working with Judy Spitz.
