ELEANOR HENRY Artist's Statement
Eleanor Henry, a native of Arizona, has learned the beauty of Arizona skies, deserts, and the mountains. This beauty challenges her to "put it on paper". The results are often appreciated by the viewer. She tends to be a "purist" watercolor artist.
Eleanor's works have been exhibited in State Fairs, Maricopa County Fairs, Women's Club Show, Arizona Public Service Gallery, Valley Art League, YMCA Shows, Glendale Artists Shows and Phoenix Art Guild, winning many ribbons, Best of Show and People's Choice awards, as well as being exhibited in corporate offices in Phoenix.
Eleanor is affiliated with Phoenix Artists Guild and Arizona Watercolor Association as well as Critique Encounters XII, is a juried member of Arizona Art Alliance, and has been a judge for the Paradise Valley Art Show.
